I am an independent qualitative researcher with over 15 years of experience spanning the commercial, academic and social sectors – and a deep interest in understanding how research can better help inform the policy making-process to benefit the public good.
In my most recent role, I was a founding member of Kantar Public’s Behavioural Practice, where as Head of Insight I oversaw the delivery of qualitative research and its integration into a wider process of policy and evidence development. My wider experience spans a broad range of qualitative approaches, including ethnography, deliberation, process evaluation and communications development.
I’ve created this blog to share some of my reflections on the experience of working in behavioural public policy – and to start a conversation around how the field might continue to evolve to better encourage positive societal change.
Please get in touch if you are interested in collaborating or discussing any of the ideas on this blog.
